An antique 15 carat gold (tests thereabouts) ring, with a 'giardinetto' (small garden) head with green and white enamel detailing above a rock crystal 'vase'. The vase containing a gold wire cypher and the band with a French phrase carved into the gold.
Wow - scarce, very collectible & so wearable!
CONDITION: Generally good. Obvious signs of wear commensurate and enamel loss comensurate with age and use. The outer band dedication illegible, apart from 'conservez' (keep or save).
DATE/MARKS: Around 1750. Not marked.
DIMENSIONS: Head 16 x 9 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm).
RING SIZE: Just under I or 4.5 US (Resizing not recommended).
