An antique English gold filled (possibly solid in parts) fob, set with a polished carnelian agate intaglio seal, engraved with two joined hearts on a plinth.

A lovely Georgian seal...so collectible & perfect for wear on a chain!

CONDITION: All original and generally good. Some gilding wear commensurate with age and use. Needs a clean.

DEFECTS: None.

DATE/MARKS: Around 1780/800. Not marked.

DIMENSIONS: 31 mm tall, base 27 x 20 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.

WEIGHT: Approx. 6.0 grams.
