ANTIQUE ENGLISH 9K GOLD ROSE CUT DIAMOND PEARL & BLACK ENAMEL RING c1820
An antique English, solid 9 carat gold (tests thereabouts) ring; set with a row of seed pearls around a black enamelled panel, topped with three glistening rose-cut diamonds in silver settings.
Most distinctive, so collectible & ready to wear!
CONDITION: Originally a brooch or similar, converted in antiquity. Slight signs of wear commensurate with age and use. Some natural discolouration to pearls. Small split to back of one shoulder join, nothingg ofconsequence.
DATE/MARKS: Head around 1820/30. Shank marked '9ct'.
DIMENSIONS: Head 17 x 12 mm, largest diamond approx. 4.3 x 3.4 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.
RING SIZE: Just under P or 8 US (can be resized within reason).
WEIGHT: Approx. 3.9 grams.
