ANTIQUE ENGLISH GEORGIAN PERIOD 9K GOLD & SILVER DIAMOND CLUSTER RING c1800
An antique English, solid 9 carat gold (tests thereabouts) ring; beautifully made, with a silver head set with a cluster of sixteen sparkling white old mine-cut diamonds in open backed settings. Approx. 1ct total, G/H, VS/SI.
Wow - such a beautiful Georgian period ring...extremely collectible & so wearable too!
CONDITION: All original and generally very good. Slight signs of wear commensurate with age and use. One or two diamonds possibly a little sunken/off-centre in settings, all perfectly secure & not readily noticeable - please see pictures. Faint shape distortion/denting to band shape.
DATE/MARKS: Around 1800/10. Not marked.
DIMENSIONS: Head 13 x 12 mm, diamonds approx. 2.8 mm diameter (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.
RING SIZE: M or 6 ½ US (easily resized).
WEIGHT: Approx. 3.7 grams.
