ANTIQUE GEORGIAN ENGLISH 9K GOLD BLUE ENAMEL & ROSE CUT DIAMOND RING c1820
An antique solid 9 carat gold (tests thereabouts) ring; beautifully made, with a blue enamel panel topped & surrounded by an array of foiled rose-cut diamonds in typical silver settings.
Wow - such a wonderful Georgian period ring...lovely quality, so attractive & very collectible...ready to wear too!
CONDITION: Generally very good. Slightest signs of wear commensurate with age and use. A few minuscule nicks to stones and faintest chips/loss to enamel - see pictures. Shank possibly an old replacement?
DATE/MARKS: Around 1800/20 Not marked.
DIMENSIONS: Head 22 x 14 mm, middle diamond approx. 5.4 x 4.9 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.
RING SIZE: Just under Q or 8 ½ US (can be resized within reason).
WEIGHT: Approx. 5.8 grams.
