ANTIQUE VICTORIAN 9K GOLD BLACK ENAMEL PEARL & DIAMOND MOURNING BROOCH c1880
A larger-scale antique English, solid 9 carat gold (tests thereabouts) mourning brooch; finely made, with a lower drop section, and all decorated with black enamelling and split pearl & tiny diamond motifs. Of heavy duty hollow construction, typical of the period in which it was made.
Most distinctive, high quality & so collectable...wearable too!

DATE/MARKS: Around 1870/80. Not marked.
DIMENSIONS: 53 x 64 mm overall (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.
WEIGHT: Approx. 19.4 grams.
