An antique English, solid 15 carat gold (tests thereabouts) sentimental brooch; beautifully modeled as a padlock, with two drops, one a heart and one a key (key to my heart). With fine cannetille construction it is set with natural turquoise cabochons and flat cut garnets / rubies surrounding a crescent shaped, rounded glass locket holding an old woven hair memento - easily changed out if desired.
A lovely quality Georgian brooch...immensely collectible & wearable too!
CONDITION: All original and generally very good. Slight signs of cannetille wear and tarnish in places commensurate with age and use - see pics. Some old repairs visible to back, easily improved. Disparity in turquoise colors natural and perfectly normal.
DATE/MARKS: Around 1820/30. Not marked.
