18k Gold Enamel Amethyst Cufflinks

A pair of antique solid 18 carat gold cufflinks; finely made, with floral designs decorated with beautiful blue pink and white enamelling and set with natural faceted amethysts. Probably 18th century buttons (possibly earlier).

High quality, so collectable & immensely wearable!

CONDITION: All original and very, very good. Some wear to enamel, easily improved - see pics. Probably originally buttons and adapted in antiquity.

DEFECTS: None.

DATE/MARKS: Early 18th Century ? Not marked.

DIMENSIONS: Faces 12 mm diameter. (1 inch = 25.4 mm).

WEIGHT: Approx. 6.5 grams together.
