A fabulous quality antique English, solid 18 carat gold (tests thereabouts) mussel shell-shaped locket; with finely applied, bright blue vitreous enameling throughout, hinging open to reveal an enameled interior with a small locket compartment, currently holding an old hair memento.
Very high quality, deeply beautiful & so collectable...not to mention wearable!
CONDITION: All original and very good. Slightest signs of enamel wear commensurate with age and use, a couple of fleabites, negligible. Hinges & closures good.
