9k Gold 18" Chain

A lovely antique English, solid 9 carat gold (tests thereabouts) necklace; beautifully made with tight round links and barrel snap clasp.

Beautiful and wonderfully wearable - perfect for hanging a lavaliere!

CONDITION: All original and very good. Slight signs of link wear commensurate with age and use. Appears to have originally had a swag chain or similar - connector links still present.

DEFECTS: None.

DATE/MARKS: Around 1890/1900. Not marked. 

DIMENSIONS: 18 inches long, links 2.5 mm wide (1 inch = 25.4 mm).

WEIGHT: Approx. 9.2 grams.
