9k Gold Baby Teething Peg Whistle

An antique 9 carat gold (tests thereabouts,) miniature baby whistle charm, with chased decoration and an orange coral/glass teething peg end.

CONDITION: All original and very good. Slight signs of wear & tarnish commensurate with age and use.

DATE/MARKS: Mid / late 19th Century. Not marked.

DIMENSIONS: 36 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.

WEIGHT: Approx. 1.7 grams.
