9k Gold Monogram Locket 'THM'

An antique English 9 carat gold back & front locket, with finely engraved floral & foliate decoration around a monogram reading 'THM' (or similar combination) and hinging open to reveal old photo mementos (easily changed out). Both the back & front of this locket are solid gold, the rest is yellow metal for strength.

So pretty, very collectible & ready to wear!

CONDITION: All original and very good. Slightest signs of wear commensurate with age and use.

DEFECTS: None.

DATE/MARKS: Around 1880/1900. Stamped '9ct Gold Back & Front'.

DIMENSIONS: 36 x 23 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). 

WEIGHT: Approx. 5.2 grams.
