An antique English solid 9 carat gold mourning ring, inset with a strand of finely woven hair, topped with a gold panel engraved 'Amite' and intricately hand chased borders.
Very collectible & wearable too!
CONDITION: All original and very good. Slight signs of wear commensurate with age and use.
DATE/MARKS: Around 1850/60. Not marked.
DIMENSIONS: 6 mm wide (1 inch = 25.4 mm).
RING SIZE: Just over K 1/2 or 5.5 US (cannot be resized).
