Art Nouveau Demantoid Ruby Brooch

An antique solid 14 carat gold (tests thereabouts) probably Russian trefoil brooch; beautifully made, with three demantoid garnet 'petals' around a tiny ruby. These test as garnets but are possibly doublets? 

Terrific quality, so collectible & ready to wear!

CONDITION: All original and very, very good. Slightest signs of wear & abrasions to stones commensurate with age and use. May benefit from a clean.

DEFECTS: None.

DATE/MARKS: Around 1900. Not marked.

DIMENSIONS: 45 mm long (1 inch = 25.4 mm). 

WEIGHT: Approx. 5.3 grams.
