Emerald and Pearl Urn Locket Fob

An antique solid 14/15 carat gold (tests thereabouts) charm / fob; beautifully modelled as an urn, the frame set with tiny emeralds and seed pearls, around two tiny lockets holding old hair mementos (each hinging open for easy access inside), and a basalt ware (or similar) seal base depicting a classical figure.

Such a wonderful little Georgian fob...immensely collectible & so wearable too!

CONDITION: All original and generally very good. Slight signs of wear to stones commensurate with age and use.

DEFECTS: None.

DATE/MARKS: Around 1780/90. Not marked.

DIMENSIONS: 24 mm long (1 inch = 25.4 mm). 

WEIGHT: Approx. 4.2 grams.
