Georgian 15k Regard Pansy Brooch

A super quality antique English, solid 15 carat gold (tests thereabouts) brooch; beautifully modelled as a flower, with finely applied textured gold leaves and set with a row of natural gemstones: starting from the bottom ruby; emerald; garnet (middle) ; amethyst; ruby; diamond - the first letters of which combine to make the  popular sentiment 'Regard', 

A wonderful quality, scarce and fabulously wearable - immensely collectable too!

CONDITION: All original and very good. Slight signs of wear commensurate with age and use. Top leaf an old repair ?

DATE/MARKS: Around 1820/30. Not marked.

DIMENSIONS: 24 x 19 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm).

WEIGHT: Approx. 1.7 grams.
