Antique French, solid 14/15 carat gold (tests thereabouts, or probably a little higher) locket; finely modelled as a purse / handbag, with articulated handle and gently rounded glasses to both sides, the front hinging open for easy access.
A lovely quality Georgian locket - very wearable and highly collectable!
CONDITION: All original and very, very good. Slightest signs of wear commensurate with age and use. No damage, hinge and closure perfect.

DATE/MARKS: Around 1820/30. Not marked.
DIMENSIONS: 23 x 19 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm).
