A lovely quality antique English, solid 15 carat gold (tests thereabouts) locket; beautifully made, with an ornate diagonal stripe motif inset with three sparkling old cut diamonds and hinging open to reveal two glass compartments (one holding an old photo but easily swapped out). Hung on a similar period 15 carat gold (tests) chain necklace, with faceted links and a barrel snap clasp.
A most impressive example...immensely collectible & ready to wear!
