Ruby Diamond Pearl Fly Bar Brooch

An antique English, solid 15 carat gold (tests thereabouts) bar brooch; beautifully made, topped with a silver, rose cut diamond set fly / bug with tiny ruby cabochon eyes and embellished with pearls to either end.

So beautiful, very collectible & wearable too!

CONDITION: Very, very good. Slightest signs of wear commensurate with age and use. One pearl an old replacement.

DATE/MARKS: Around 1880/1900. Not marked.

DIMENSIONS: 34 mm long overall, bug 11 x 16 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm).

WEIGHT: Approx. 3.3 grams.
