Sarcophagus Slide Pencil

An antique, solid silver slide pencil charm; beautifully modelled as an Egyptian sarcophagus, with vitreous enamelling and tiny hieroglyphs on both sides.

A wonderful antique charm, wearable and very collectable...ideal for any bracelet, chain or collection!

CONDITION: All original and good. Slight signs of detail wear, some slight enamel loss and denting commensurate with age and use. Pencil fittings slide out (see pic), a simple fix for a jeweller or handy person. 

DATE/MARKS: Around 1900/20's. Not marked. 

DIMENSIONS: 51 mm long when closed, 99 mm extended. (1 inch = 25.4 mm).
