Silver Star Link Bookchain Collar & Locket

A beautiful antique English solid sterling silver book-chain type necklace; with star pierced panels and hung with an aesthetic engraved locket containing and old hair memento (easily changed out if desired. Fastened with an oversized bolt ring.

A lovely example - so wearable!

CONDITION: All original and very, very good. Some light signs of wear commensurate with age and use. Some denting to the locket, hinge and closure good. 

DATE/MARKS: Around 1880. Hallmarked for Birmingham, date letter ilegible. Maker marks N&D

DIMENSIONS: 17 inches long, 9 mm wide, locket 41 x 35 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm).
