PAIR of ANTIQUE ENGLISH 18K GOLD GREEN ENAMEL DIAMOND HEART RINGS c1900
A pair of antique English, solid 18 carat gold (tests thereabouts) conversion rings; beautifully modelled as hearts, with vitreous green gullioche and opaque white enamel surrounding sparkling white old mine-cut diamonds.
High quality, deeply beautifully & fabulously wearable - either angled together or on separate fingers!
CONDITION: Very, very good. Originally a brooch, recently converted with 9 carat gold shanks. Slightest signs of enamel wear commensurate with age and use.
DATE/MARKS: Hearts around 1890/1910. Not marked.
DIMENSIONS: Hearts 12 x 11 mm, diamonds approx. 2.4 mm diameter (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.
RING SIZE: M or 6 ½ US & K or 5 ½ US (easily sized within reason).
WEIGHT: Approx. 7.2 grams together.
